Apple has acknowledged that software issues and certain popular apps like Instagram and Uber are causing the new iPhone 15 models to become too hot. They are working on an update to fix this problem in the iOS17 system that powers the iPhone 15. The issue is not related to the titanium casing of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. 

Instagram has already made changes to prevent overheating on the latest iPhone operating system, but other apps like Uber are still in the process of releasing their updates. Apple assures users that there are no safety concerns and they can continue using their devices while waiting for the software fix. 

It is common for new iPhone 15 models to become too hot during the initial days of use or when restoring backup data from the cloud. However, the heating issues with the iPhone 15 models have surpassed the usual situations. Apple is confident that the problem can be resolved quickly with the upcoming software updates. 

The company has been facing declining sales, and this issue could further impact sales of their flagship product. However, they have been trying to boost sales by increasing the starting price of the top-of-the-line iPhone 15 Pro Max. Despite the sales concerns, Apple remains optimistic about resolving the overheating problem and regaining momentum in the market.
