Instagram is updating its Reels templates to help users create better short-form videos. The new “Template Browser” will allow users to search for templates by category, such as recommended and trending. Users can also browse through saved templates and audios.

To access the new Template Browser for Instagram Reels, follow these steps:

1. Tap the “create” button on the home page.
2. Select the “Reel” option.
3. Tap on “Templates” and select one.If you find a template you like while browsing Reels, tap the “Use Template” button on the Reel to get started.
4. Add media.

Instagram is improving the process of creating and editing templates for Reels. When using a template, the audio, number of clips, duration of clips and AR effects will be automatically added to the Reel. In the future, Instagram plans to automatically add text and transitions from the original Reel. Users can customize templates by adding or removing clips, changing the timing of clips or editing preloaded elements.

Instagram has announced new Reels templates to make it easier for users to create short-form videos. The templates provide a quick and easy way to start creating content, whether following a trend or expressing creativity. Instagram is committed to continuously improving the Reels experience and plans to build on the templates feature in the future. 

In addition, Instagram recently added the ability for users to download Reels posted by others, a feature that has been available on TikTok for several years and has helped the app gain popularity.
