Jonas Brothers, Miguel, and Niall Horan Join TikTok’s Music Discovery Hub #NewMusic

TikTok has collaborated with performers Jonas Brothers, Miguel, and Niall Horan to create #NewMusic, a global music discovery platform. NewMusic is designed to be a dedicated location for musicians worldwide to present their new songs, as well as a place for listeners to discover their next favorite track. The hub will aggregate fresh music content from TikTok artists, including early previews and music still being created. The hub features performers like the Jonas Brothers, Miguel, and Niall Horan.

The Jonas Brothers’ latest album, “The Album,” and single “Waffle House” have recently been trending on TikTok. With the resurgence of his 2011 song “Sure Thing,” R&B sensation Miguel has been buzzing on TikTok, and to honor the hub, the musician has produced a TikTok trailing his new tune “Give It To Me.” Horan, who rose to prominence as a member of the boy band One Direction, has released a video for his new single “Meltdown.”
“It’s been so cool to see people all over the world making content with our music,” the Jonas Brothers remarked. TikTok allows us to engage with our fans and reach out to new ones in a fun way.”

“I’ve been using #NewMusic to preview songs from my upcoming album ‘The Show,’ including my new single ‘Meltdown,'” Horan continued. I enjoy utilizing the Stitch & Duet function to interact with fans and have a lot of fun with the filters. It’s been incredible to witness all of the creativity on the app with fan art, covers, and fan-written verses on the #OpenVerse challenges, all before the song is even out.”

“We are thrilled to launch the #NewMusic Hub, which celebrates and champions artists of all genres, from up-and-coming talent to international superstars,” said Paul Hourican, TikTok’s global head of music programming and partnerships. TikTok is already a destination for musicians wishing to preview their latest works and music fans looking to find new music, and this new feature will provide artists with a new method to connect with our worldwide community. It represents an exciting chance to build a diversified musical landscape that celebrates the unique abilities and interests of artists and fans globally.”
