WhatsApp Testing AI-Generated Stickers in Beta Version

WhatsApp Testing AI-Generated Stickers

WhatsApp is releasing an update for beta testers called version 2.23.17.14 through the Google Play Beta Program. This update introduces a new feature called AI stickers, but it is only available to a small group of beta testers.

The AI stickers feature allows users to create and share customized stickers. To access it, users can tap on the “Create” button within the sticker tab and enter a description. WhatsApp’s AI technology will generate a set of stickers based on that description, and users can choose which one to share in their conversations. Here is an example:

These AI stickers are created using secure technology provided by Meta. Users have control over the stickers generated by AI and can report any inappropriate or harmful ones to Meta. The feature is optional, and the stickers created by AI are easily recognizable, so recipients will know they are AI-generated.

This feature offers advantages in terms of personalization and engagement. Users can create stickers that are personalized and relevant to their interests or conversations by entering specific descriptions. It eliminates the need for advanced design skills or external tools to create stickers.

Currently, the AI stickers feature is only available to a limited group of beta testers and will be rolled out to more users gradually over the coming weeks.
