WhatsApp to allow users to edit messages within 15 minutes

WhatsApp to allow users to edit messages within 15 minutes, giving you more control over your chats and the ability to correct mistakes or add extra context to your messages. To edit a sent message, simply long-press on the message and select Edit from the menu within 15 minutes of sending it. The edited message will be marked as edited, but the edit history will not be displayed to the person you’re messaging. As always, your messages, media, and calls are protected by end-to-end encryption.

The feature is being progressively released worldwide and will be accessible to all users in the next few weeks.
