WhatsApp has introduced a new feature called “Admin Review” for group chats. This feature helps group administrators manage their chats more effectively.
Admin Review feature allows participants in a group to report messages that they find concerning or inappropriate directly to the administrators. The admin can then decide whether to delete the message or take appropriate action. They can also remove the sender from the group to maintain a safe and respectful environment. This feature helps admins oversee the group even when they’re not actively present and ensures that the conversation follows community guidelines.
The reported messages are stored in a separate section for easy reference. WhatsApp is currently testing this feature with a select group of beta testers and plans to roll it out to more users in the future. Additionally, WhatsApp is working on a feature that will allow users to use their email addresses as an alternative login method.
