Exciting news! Twitter announced that, starting March 20, only Twitter Blue subscribers will be able to use text messages as their two-factor authentication method to secure their accounts. By utilizing two-factor authentication, Twitter is committed to making their accounts even more secure by requiring account holders to use an additional authentication method in addition to a password.
Types of Two Factor Authentication (2FA)
Twitter now offers 3-types of Two Factor Authentication (2FA):
- text message,
- authentication app,
- and security key!
