Instagram has introduced a useful new feature that allows you to cancel a Stories upload while it’s in progress. This means that if you spot any errors or issues before your Story goes live, you can now stop it from being viewable on the app.
The feature is easy to use – simply tap on the new button within the Stories upload process after you’ve clicked “Share”. Social media expert Ahmed Ghanem shared an example of this feature in action.
Mistakes happen to all of us, like adding the wrong link, noticing a spelling error at the last minute, or forgetting to tag someone. These are common errors, especially when you’re posting multiple Stories and other social media content every day. With this update, you can quickly halt the upload and fix these mistakes, which will be a big help for social media managers. Make sure you have the latest version of the Instagram app to access this new feature.
